Dr Jagoda Janisz is a doctor in the course of her specialization in psychiatry, a graduate of the Medical University of Poznań and two-year postgraduate studies in psychotherapy, which were
conducted by the Collegium Medicum of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow.
This program is accredited by the Polish Psychiatric Association, which confirms the high quality of education.
Her professional experience includes working in various psychiatric facilities, including inpatient, day and rehab wards. Currently, she is part of the team at the Admission Room of the Lower Silesian Mental Health Center in Wrocław. For almost two years, she was a doctor in the Community Treatment Team, where she dealt with psychiatric care of patients as part of home visits, and in the Nursing Home in Ostrów Wielkopolski.
In her daily work with patients, she places great emphasis on good communication and building relationships based on mindfulness and honesty. She believes that the key element of effective treatment is the optimization of pharmacotherapy, tailored to the individual needs of the patient. As a psychiatrist, she strives to make every patient feel understood and supported in difficult moments of their lives. Its aim is not only to help in the treatment of mental disorders, but also to educate and support in the recovery process.
